Data Collection

Pixel Zen is a local-first application. We do not collect, transmit, or store your workspace data, screen recordings, or window titles on any remote servers. All data remains exclusively on your Mac.

Screen Recording Permission

Pixel Zen requires Screen Recording permission solely to capture an instant snapshot of your screen for the saved workspace preview thumbnail. This image is stored locally in the app sandbox and is never transmitted off your device.

Accessibility Permission

Pixel Zen requires Accessibility permission to manage window positions, hide applications, and restore them. We do not log your keystrokes or monitor your activity outside of the commands you trigger.

Website Analytics

Our website (pixelzen.app) may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to count visits. We do not use tracking cookies or sell visitor data to third parties.
